This rifle is a close copy of the work of John Fleeger and is a nice example of the style and quality of rifles being built in the Pittsburgh area at the end of the flintlock era and early into the percussion era. I have a real affinity for Western Pa. guns and built this gun for one of my grandsons. This rifle was built with a 44” B weight barrel and a Davis Ketland lock, as well as Davis # 4 double set triggers. Rifles of this type are great handling guns that are a joy to carry afield. If you are interested in a similar rifle, please contact me, and we can discuss a similar build.
