This rifle is a straight forward hunting gun. It is built on a nice dense piece of curly maple with Bucks County architecture. The stock was prepared for finishing by scraping to give a very authentic look and feel. The stock has been lightly antiqued in the staining technique. The minimal incise carving design is copied from an original Bucks County gun. The rifle has a 38”, 54 cal. barrel, and a large Siler lock. The single trigger is carefully honed to give about a 3 lb. let off. This rifle has everything you need in a dependable hunting gun that is easy to carry and accurate to shoot.
