I originally built this rifle for myself to be used on a western hunt. Unfortunately, I did not get an opportunity to take game during that hunt. I have taken several whitetails with it and it is certainly more than adequate for that purpose, and larger game. This left hand rifle is built in the style of an English sporting rifle. It has a 62cal. rifled 1” straight Orion barrel, 32” long. It is fired by an extensively reworked and tuned L & R lock w/ waterproof pan. It has double lever double set triggers, steel butt plate and triggerguard all nicely engraved. This is a straight out elegant hunting rifle stocked in a beautiful piece of American walnut.
